Xiaomi has decided to discontinue software support for many of its smartphones. This decision of the Chinese company will affect millions of mobile users using Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco smartphones. The company has included these smartphones in the list of end-off-port (EOS). However, users will not have any problem in sending calls and messages from these smartphones or using internet, but after the software support is closed, these phones will be on target of hackers.
Why is the software update necessary?

In these smartphones of Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco included in the end of support list, users will no longer get any MIUI or Hyperos updates. Users can upgrade these smartphones and shift to newly launched devices. However, there are many smartphones in this list which have not been launched in India.
