Ayushman Bharat Scheme.
The central government on Tuesday shared big information about the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. The government has said that under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, more than 8.5 crore treatment has been done by 31 January 2025. Union Health Minister JP Nadda has given this information while answering a question in the Rajya Sabha. Ayushman Bharat Scheme 4.2 crore treatment has been done in government hospitals and 4.3 crore treatment has been done in private hospitals.
Which states do not have Ayushman India?
All the states and union territories except West Bengal and the national capital in the country have joined the scheme. Nadda said that the AB-PMJAY trust is applied through the medium, insurance medium and hybrid medium. He said that at present, the scheme is being implemented by 25 state trusts, seven insurance medium and two state hybrid medium.

Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana is an important scheme of the Central Government. Under this scheme, people are given health cover of up to five lakh rupees per family per family. There are about 55 crore beneficiaries of this scheme in the country. 12.37 crore families are benefiting under the scheme.
Elders above 70 years also benefit
Health Minister JP Nadda has said that recently the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana has been expanded to six crore elders above 70 years. It belongs to 4.5 crore families. The socio -economic status of the elderly beneficiary is not seen while giving the cover of Ayushman Yojana. Under the scheme, the elderly are given a Vandana card. (input language)
