Indian team after winning the title of Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup 2025
The Indian team defeated South Africa by 9 wickets to win the Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup 2025 title. Indian players performed amazing throughout the tournament. The ICC has announced the team of the tournament of the Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup 2025. The special thing is that four players have got a place in it. These include Gongadi Trisha, G. Kamalini, Vaishnavi Sharma and Ayushi Shukla. Kayla Renke has got the responsibility of captaincy in the ICC team of the tournament.
Gongadi Trisha scored the most runs in the tournament
Gongadi Trisha performed strongly for the Indian team in the Women’s Under-19 in the T20 World Cup 2025. He took three wickets in 4 overs while bowling first in the final match. After this, batting scored 44 runs. It was because of him that Team India managed to win the final match. He scored a total of 309 runs throughout the tournament. It was because of the strong game that he received the Player of the Tournament Award. His opening partner ji Kamalini contributed 143 runs.
Vaishnavi Sharma took 17 wickets
Vaishnavi Sharma was the highest wicket-taking wicket in the Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup 2025. He took a total of 17 wickets in 6 matches of the tournament. Apart from him, Aymashi Shukla took a total of 14 wickets. The batsmen of the opposing team did not stand in front of these players. Both of them played an important role in winning the title to Team India.
South Africa’s player made captain
South Africa’s Jemma Botha, England’s Davina Perin and Australia’s Cauhemhe Brees have also got a place in the team. Kayla Reneke of South Africa has been appointed as the captain of the team. Chamodi Praboda of Sri Lanka, Pooja Mahato of Nepal and other players of KT Jones team of England. South African fast bowler Nathabiseng Nini has been kept as 12th player.
