Bharatiya Janata Party Rajya Sabha MP Dinesh Sharma has expressed concern over these matters by referring to the suicide of ‘Atul Subhash’. MP Dinesh Sharma has raised the demand for legal and emotional support for men who have faced false allegations in the House. He has demanded strict action against those making false allegations.

Demand to make law gender neutral

On Friday, MP in Rajya Sabha Dinesh Sharma mentioned Atul Subhash’s suicide under zero hour. During this time, he has demanded to make the law related to domestic violence and harassment gender neutral. The MP said that the law has made a lot of progress in protecting women from domestic violence and exploitation, but the lack of security for men due to similar violence and exploitation is a matter of concern. The MP said that there is not enough legal and emotional support for men facing false allegations. He said that misuse of Section 85 of BNS is a matter of serious concern.

Demand for action against false allegations

BJP MP Dinesh Sharma in Rajya Sabha said- “I request that the law related to domestic violence and harassment be made gender neutral so that everyone can be justice. If a person gives his life due to lack of system, then it gives his life then This is the time of introspection for us. Strict action should be taken against those who make false allegations so that the fairness and truth of the justice system can be maintained. “

Important figures of suicide came out

Dinesh Sharma also presented the necessary data of NCRB in the Rajya Sabha on Friday. He said that in the year 2022, 72 percent of people who committed suicide in India were 1,25,000 men while the number of women was around 47,000. Between 2014 and 2021, the proportion of suicides of men and women has increased significantly. During this period, 107.5 percent more men had explained family problems due to suicide.
