Rule changes from 1st februry: From today, the second month of 2025 i.e. February has started. Today is very important for money related activities. The country’s general budget will be presented today

The general budget of FY 2025-26 is going to be presented in Parliament today. There can be many big announcements in this budget, which will directly affect your pocket. It is expected that the Finance Minister can increase the basic exemption limit of income tax from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. This will provide great relief to taxpayers. Apart from this, a new tax slab of 25 percent can come on income ranging from Rs 15 lakh to Rs 20 lakh.

Prices of LPG cylinder decreased

The price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has fallen by Rs 7 in the country from February 1. Due to this, the price of gas cylinders of 19 kg in the national capital Delhi has been increased to Rs 1797. It was earlier getting Rs 1804. At the same time, there has been no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinder.

This rule will be applicable in UPI

There is going to be a big change for UPI users from today. The National Payments Corporation of India has decided to block some UPI transactions. According to the new NPCI rule, transactions from UPI Transaction ID made from special characters from February 1 will not be accepted. From today onwards, transactions will be done with the same UPI transaction ID which is made only using alphanumeric characters (letters and digits).

Kotak Mahindra Bank’s new rules

Kotak Mahindra Bank has implemented changes in its general features and charges since February 1, 2025. These changes are related to banking services like free ATM transaction limit, demand draft, RTGS, IMPS, checkbook.
