Farmer Tirtha Singh of Village Sandaur Makes His Mark in Horticulture

To fullfill this objective, the horticulture department, under the guidance of cabinet minister Mohinder BHAGAT, is providing all possible support to Farmers to Encourage them to Move to Move to Move to Moves to Moves to Moves to Moves to Moves to Moves to Moves to Move.

With the continuous support from the Punjab Government’s Horticulture Department, Tirth Singh, a progressive and hardworking farmer from village Sandaur in Sangrur district, has made a unique mark in the field of horticulture. By Embracing Agricultural Diversification and Growing Vegetables, Farmer Tirtha Singh has successfully increased his income.

In 1996-97, Farmer Tirtha Singh with the help the Horticulture Department, Shifted from Traditional Crops to Growing Vegetable seedlings. Today, He Supplies High-Quality Seedlings to More Than 800 Farmers. He Now Grows Onion Seedlings, Hybrid Peppers (CH-CH-CH-2), and Several Other variatiies on 4 Acres of Land. His efforts have not only increased his own income but have also inspired other farmers to adopt crop diversification and move towards Horticulture.
