The Indian team defeated England by 15 runs in the fourth T20 match and took a 3–1 lead in the series. In the match, England captain Jose Butler won the toss and decided to bowl first. The Indian team scored 181 runs thanks to the half -centuries of Shivam Dubey and Hardik Pandya, in response to which the British team was reduced to just 166 runs. Team India started very bad in the match. In the second over, India lost the wickets of the batsmen Suryakumar Yadav, Sanju Samson and Tilak Verma. Due to this, Team India looked in crisis. Then Team India was able to reach a respectable score from Hardik and Dubey’s innings. After the match, captain Suryakumar Yadav has described losing three wickets in a single over as very bad.

Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dubey praised

Suryakumar Yadav said after the match that everyone did well. Fans always supported us. Losing three wickets in an over was very bad. The way Hardik and Shivam Dubey showed their experience were fantastic. This is something that we are talking about. You bat in the same way as on the nets. I think we are moving in the right direction.

Harshit Rana performed strongly in debut match

Suryakumar Yadav said that I knew that after the powerplay, there was a time between 7 to 10 overs when we could control the game and the same happened. We took some wickets and controlled the game. After drinks, when unfortunately Shivam Dubey could not enter. Harshit Rana came as a third pacer as a concentration substitute and performed well for us, it was incredible. Harshit took three important wickets for 33 runs in four overs in the match.

Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dubey showed strength

For India, Hardik Pandya scored an innings of 53 runs in 30 balls with four sixes and the same fours. Apart from him, Shivam Dubey (53 runs, 34 balls, seven fours, two sixes) also presented a sample of strong batting. The two players shared an 87 -run partnership for the sixth wicket, which managed to score 181 for nine despite the team losing three wickets for 12 runs.
