Many important bills are to be introduced in the budget session of Parliament.
New Delhi: The budget session of Parliament is starting from today. First today, President Draupadi Murmu will address the joint session of Parliament. There will be meetings of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha in which Finance Minister will present the Economic Survey after the President’s address. On February 1, on Saturday, Finance Minister Modi will present the first full budget of the 3.0 government. This budget session of Parliament will run till 4 April. In this budget session, the government can introduce several important bills, including the Waqf Amendment Bill.
All -party meeting was called before the budget session
Let us know that Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju called an all -party meeting on Thursday regarding the budget session. In the meeting, all the parties appealed to cooperation to run the proceedings of Parliament smoothly, but the opposition parties clarified their intentions in it. The Samajwadi Party demanded a discussion on the issue of the accident in Mahakumbh in the House and also demanded an inquiry on the incident with transparency. In the Rajya Sabha, Congress Deputy Leader Pramod Tiwari said that the opposition coalition will raise all issues in the budget session of Parliament.
Government can introduce 16 important bills
Let us know that the budget session of Parliament starting today is going to be very important. On the one hand, while Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the first full budget of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and its eighth consecutive budget, the government can also offer 16 important bills including the Waqf Amendment Bill in this session. Parliament’s budget session will be held in two phases
Explain that the budget session of Parliament will start on Friday in a joint meeting of both houses and the budget will be presented on February 1. The first phase of the session will end on 13 February and the second phase will start from March 10 and run till 4 April.
