Settlement: A unique love story has come to light from Basti, UP, in which a Muslim youth changed his name and religion to get his love. Here a Muslim youth Saddam converted his religion for the sake of his love and he also changed his name to Shiv Shankar Soni. Saddam married his girlfriend as per Hindu rituals. The newlywed bride has appealed to Hindus and religious organizations to accept this marriage.
Saddam and Anu met 10 years ago. They first became friends and then gradually their love blossomed. Anu Soni and Saddab vow to stay together. When Anu talked about marrying Saddam, Saddam’s family did not approve of this relationship.
As the matter escalated, Saddam’s family evicted him from the house. After this Saddam refused to marry Anu. But Anu lodged a complaint against Saddam with the SP 3 days ago. Later Saddam willingly adopted Hinduism and visited the Shiva temple. Saddam also changed his name to Shiv Shankar Soni.
Saddam and Anu are residents of Nagar police station area. Anu told that both of us will build our own house and live together. Now not Saddam, Shiv Shankar is our husband.
