BSNL 4G Service

BSNL 4G Service Experience: After the recharges of private telecom companies became expensive, a campaign to port numbers to BSNL started on social media platforms. In July, lakhs of users had ported their numbers to Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited’s network. If you change the operator once or are a new customer of any telecom operator, then you can port your number to any other telecom operator only after 90 days. If you are also going to port your number to BSNL, then know our experience before that.

BSNL is going to roll out 4G network across the country soon. The government telecom operator has set a target of installing 1 lakh new mobile towers for this, out of which 75 thousand mobile towers can go live by the end of this year. At present, Airtel and Jio are providing 4G and 5G services to their users, while Vi’s 5G service is also going to go live soon. Let’s know about our BSNL SIM card purchase to network availability and user experience…

Experience of buying SIM

BSNL is currently providing home delivery of SIM cards in Ghaziabad in UP and limited areas of Kerala. However, we live in Noida where to get a BSNL SIM you can go to the company’s customer service center or the nearest telephone exchange. We bought a new SIM card from the nearest BSNL customer service center, and the experience was quite good. Your number gets activated within a few hours of buying the SIM.

Network availability

BSNL SIM got activated after just two hours. After the SIM is activated, you will have to choose one of the FRC (First Recharge) plans offered by the company. Its minimum plan starts from Rs 108.

BSNL’s network signal does not work properly in Noida. You will face network problems here whether it is indoor or outdoor. Another reason for this is that Noida currently falls in the Delhi telecom circle, due to which you get MTNL’s Dolphin 3G signal.

BSNL 4G Service Review

BSNL is offering 5G ready SIM cards to its customers, which support 2G/3G/4G and 5G networks. 4G signal is available only in some areas of Noida. The company is currently in the process of upgrading the network. In such a situation, you can get good network connectivity after a few months.

Our verdict

For BSNL recharge plan, you may have to spend between Rs 18 and Rs 2999. BSNL recharges are cheaper than the plans of private telecom companies. You will not get good network connectivity in BSNL in Delhi-NCR. Except for some areas, you will only get 2G/3G signals, in which there will be problems in calling. Also, you will not be able to access the internet.

However, the company is constantly upgrading its network. In such a situation, you should wait for a few months to upgrade the network in BSNL. After BSNL 4G service becomes available, you can switch to the government telecom operator.
