122 people lost their lives in the stampede during the satsang of Bhole Baba alias Narayan Sakar Hari alias Surajpal Singh in Hathras, UP. The tragic incident of Hathras happened on July 2

Let us tell you that on July 2, there was a stampede during the satsang of self-proclaimed saint and preacher Narayan Sakar Hari alias ‘Bhole Baba’ in Hathras and 122 people died in it, mostly women, children and the elderly. After this incident, the whole country was shocked and a case was registered in UP after this tragic incident. According to the FIR, only 80 thousand people were allowed to attend the satsang in the program. But more than 2.50 lakh people had reached the satsang.

Baba came forward four days after the incident

According to the FIR, the organizers of the satsang tried to hide the actual number of people present at the event by hiding evidence and throwing slippers and other belongings of Baba’s followers in the nearby fields. According to information, the stampede occurred when many devotees ran towards Bhole Baba’s car to collect soil from his feet. There was a belief among the people that all their diseases could be cured by Baba’s feet dust. Bhole Baba was absconding since the incident and Baba gave his statement after four days.
