Union Minister Chirag Paswan recalled the friendship between his father Ram Vilas Paswan and PM Modi. Chirag Paswan said that the relationship between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his father Ram Vilas Paswan has been very beautiful. PM Modi has also given that respect, honour and love to his father. There is more of a personal acquaintance between the two than a political acquaintance. Both of them have also been colleagues.
In 2014, PM Modi gave a big responsibility
Many leaders of my party were part of PM Modi’s cabinet. In the 2014 Modi government, my father Ram Vilas Paswan was given a ministerial position and a big responsibility. Chirag said that it was a big thing for him when PM Modi came to Bihar in the 2020 elections. It was the first assembly election in Bihar after my father left. During that time, PM Modi first remembered my father as soon as he came on stage.
Father remained with PM Modi till his last breath- Chirag
Chirag said that my father had said very beautifully till his last breath that he is with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This was a truth. Father Ram Vilas Paswan always made every possible effort to fulfill the responsibilities given to him by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
PM Modi remembered his father from every platform
Chirag further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi also praised every work done by our father. Even today, PM Modi remembers my father from every platform after his death. PM Modi addresses my father Ram Vilas as his friend, friend and a close companion. As a son, I like this. All this is a big thing for me. It is a big thing for my family that even after my father’s death, Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembers him with such love.
Father’s opinion was taken in every meeting
Chirag Paswan said that Prime Minister Modi used to give a lot of importance to his father’s experience. Chirag said that these are matters within the cabinet, but we definitely got this much information that there was no such cabinet meeting in which various agendas were discussed, whether the subject was related to his department or not, but PM Modi often took my father’s opinion.
Because PM Modi always understood the importance of the fact that he is a mass leader. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always ensured that whatever big committee there was, whatever Group of Ministers (GoM) committee was formed, PM Modi always included the leader of my party in those meetings.
PM Modi always supported his father’s experience
Chirag Paswan said that his wish is to take maximum advantage of his father’s experience. His father has been in active politics for more than five decades. He became an MLA for the first time in 1969 and has been an MP since 1977. Chirag Paswan’s father has worked with six Prime Ministers of the country. PM Modi has always respected this experience of his father.
PM used to call every day at 8:30 in the morning
Getting emotional, Chirag Paswan said that the way PM Modi took care of me and the whole family when he was in the hospital. This was the time when we both formed a new, beautiful and deep relationship with the Prime Minister. Chirag said that imagine that the Prime Minister of the country calls you twice a day and he calls you directly. When father was admitted to the hospital, PM Modi used to call me on my mobile every morning at 8:30 am. Along with knowing about father’s health, he used to take feedback from the doctors and tell me. Whether it is talking to the doctors of Chennai or AIIMS for the right treatment of father, what is their opinion after talking to all the doctors. He used to share this information with me.
