Congress targeted the BJP government

Meanwhile, Congress State President Govind Singh Dotasara, targeting Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, said that on one hand the people of the state are suffering due to power cuts and non-supply of drinking water, on the other hand the Chief Minister of the state is busy campaigning in other states instead of finding a solution to overcome this crisis. He said that despite the scorching heat, the state government is not able to provide electricity and drinking water to the people, due to which people in the rural areas of the state have to walk miles for drinking water.

The Congress leader claimed, “City dwellers are quenching their thirst by spending huge amounts of money to buy water tankers. Due to the government’s negligence, there has been a severe power crisis in the state and the government is undeclaredly cutting power for two to four hours in the state capital, while in other cities and rural areas of the state, people are suffering from heat due to lack of electricity for several hours.”
