Sharad Pawar faction criticised PM Narendra Modi for accusing opposition alliance ‘India’ of performing “Mujra” for its vote bank. Asked what is this fascination with the letter ‘M’?
Mumbai. The Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) on Saturday criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for accusing opposition alliance ‘India’ of doing “mujra” for its vote bank and asked whether it befits him to make such a statement.
Addressing election campaign rallies in Bihar, the Prime Minister said, “Bihar is the land that has given a new direction to the fight for social justice. I want to declare on the land of this state that I will foil the plans of the “India” alliance to snatch the rights of SCs, STs and OBCs and give them to Muslims. They can remain slaves and do “Mujra” to please their vote bank.”

NCP (SP) leader Clyde Crasto, referring to his earlier comments on social media, asked why the Prime Minister has such a fascination for words beginning with the letter ‘M’.
Crasto said in a post on ‘X’, “What is this fascination with the letter ‘M’? Muslim, fish, mangalsutra, mutton… now ‘mujra’. Is it befitting for the Prime Minister of India to say such things.”
