Muslim religious organization Raza Academy has given a memorandum to the Film Censor Board condemning the movie Hum Do Hamare Baarah, which is releasing on 7th June, and calling it against Muslims, has demanded from the Censor Board to immediately ban the movie.

A meeting was organised at the head office of Raza Academy located in Bhindi Bazaar. In which Raza Academy’s General Secretary Mohammad Saeed Noori accused the film of making an absurd portrayal of Muslims with the intention of hurting their feelings and said that the film has objectionable dialogues. The story has been written targeting Muslims, some low-level filmmakers make such films to gain cheap popularity. The verses of the Quran have also been misinterpreted in the film, so that a wrong message about Muslims is sent in the country.

Noori said that Muslims have been shown as oppressors in the film, due to which the people of the country will start hating Muslims, Maulana Abbas Rizvi said that we condemn the film, the Constitution does not allow anyone to insult any religion.

Qari Muhammad Saeed Ashrafi of Raza Academy said that such hate-mongering films should be banned forever. Apart from Qari Alauddin Rizvi, Abdul Qayyum Rizvi, Abdul Rehman Ziyaee, Nazim Khan, many Ulemas were present in the meeting.
