Indian star badminton player PV Sindhu has made her place in the final by winning her semi-final match in Malaysia Masters 500. In the semi-final, PV Sindhu faced Thailand’s player Busanan Ongbamrungphan who was in great form. This match between Sindhu and Busanan lasted for 88 minutes in which three sets were played. Sindhu had to face defeat in the first set of this match, but after that she made a great comeback and won the next 2 sets in a one-sided manner and managed to make her place in the final. This is the first time in the last one year that Sindhu will be seen playing in the final of a big tournament.

After falling behind in the first set, he showed aggressive play in the second set

It was not at all easy for PV Sindhu to win the semi-final match. She had to face defeat in the first set by Thailand’s player Busanan 13-21. During this set, Sindhu was clearly under pressure, after this, with the start of the second set, Sindhu changed her game strategy and adopted an aggressive approach, which also proved to be effective for her. Sindhu tied the match by winning the second set 21-16. In the third set, Sindhu completely maintained her dominance and defeated Busanan 21-12 to make it to the final of Malaysia Masters. This will be Sindhu’s fourth final of her career in the BWF World Tour Super 500 tournament. Sindhu had earlier defeated China’s player Han Yu in the quarter-final match.

There will be a clash with the Chinese player in the final

In Malaysia Masters 2024, PV Sindhu will now have to play against Chinese player Wang Zhi Yi in the final match. For 15th seeded PV Sindhu, this victory will prove to be very important in boosting her confidence before the upcoming Paris Olympics. Recently, the Indian Sports Ministry had also given permission to Sindhu to prepare in Germany for the Paris Olympics to be played from 26 July to 11 August.
