After the nursing college scam in Madhya Pradesh, the state government has taken a big action. CM Dr. Mohan Yadav has approved many big decisions taken after the meeting. Now, on the lines of engineering-medical, nursing exams will also be conducted at the state level. Under the new nursing act of the Center, a commission will be formed in the state. Now the National Commission will also give recognition to new nursing colleges. The officials involved in the nursing college scam will be dismissed. Action will also be taken against the then registrar and secretary of the Nursing Council.
Action has also been taken against two CBI officers in Bhopal in the nursing college scam case in Madhya Pradesh. The Delhi CBI team has filed an FIR against them after investigation. After this, both the CBI officers have been dismissed from their posts. FIR has also been filed against some other people associated with the recognition of the nursing college.
What is the matter?
After the irregularities in the recognition of nursing colleges in Madhya Pradesh, the entire matter was being investigated under the supervision of the High Court. The CBI officers who were assigned the responsibility of investigation at the local level took bribes. After this, the Delhi CBI team took action against them and now the entire matter is under investigation. The investigation has so far revealed that nursing colleges running only on paper were given recognition by exchanging money with them. There are about 159 such colleges which are under investigation.
